Nail Swatch: Barry M Red Black & BlogSale Part 1
I decided to post to chase the blues away.. for your info, i'm now active in twitter too (account: sizbelle). Loving this application now as i enjoy chatting with some lovely ladies & receiving updates on whats going on in their life.. What a lovely creation!
Last december, i placed my order via Pan-Asia Beauty (site which has Barry M & Zhen Beauty stuffs) which is managed by Jamilla (btw, she is hosting a fab blog with all kinds of looks that you could wear for all occasion)
Received this package from her early January but was too busy to explore them till my CNY break. I started with their award winning varnish. Selected Red Black for the trial, its pretty even in the bottle!
The varnish comes in sleek squarish bottle good for easy storage. The formula came out really smooth, better than what i expected of a drugstore brand. But the hate part is that the varnish seems to dry fast, when i was painting the 2nd coat of the last 5 nails the formula turns gooey. Making it kinda hard to apply smoothly.
The shade resemble red wine, not too vampy looking as i trim my nails short for this color as i dun want to scare my kids.. I still have 2 of their polish to swatch next..
And i finally updated my blogsale! Click HERE

Review: Skyn Iceland The ANTIDOTE Quenching Daily Lotion with Biospheric Complex
Hows everyone, its finally friday again.
My Review:
The packaging of this lotion is so interesting, filled with so many information. When i was reading the prints on the box i was like, this is me, thats me, very me... how many of the description fits you?
The usual long ingredient list.
They even include a why choose us reason which is quite interesting & brief compare to other brands which just included every details in those instructions manual alike & with tiny prints thats makes it hard to read.
This moisturiser comes in a heavyweight glass pump application bottle. The liquid came out as a yellowish lotion. After applying, i felt rather refreshing as it has a minty kind of smell and best of all its really lightweight & easy absorb into my skin. Within minutes, my skin quench its thirst and no greasy feeling at all.
The best part i like in using this moisturiser is my skin felt the cooling sensation as indicated. Its really cool or cold at the 1st try which i was really surprise it lasted for quite a while. After using for few time, i'm in love with the cool effect like cooling mist blowing towards my skin during facial session at the comfort of my home. Especially, when my face has serious breakout after stopping the pills. This moisturiser seems to cool down the temp of my breakout.
I'm still enjoying this moisturiser, now my skin is so far acne-free. I would see myself going back and order this from Sephora even though its slight pricey like USD45 for a bottle 1.76oz. If it can keep my skin clear guess i would continue. I'm curious about their eye cream & mist too. Have anyone tried it?

Review: Lunasol Micro Finish Powder 02 Natural Beige
Sorry for been away again, as its Chinese New Year so spent time visiting friends & relatives! Its the best time to get together for the year. My kids sure love this festival the best as they can receive "Ang Bao" aka red packet (contain money) and many delicious food of course.
While i was packing my makeup before the holiday, i found out that i have this Lunasol mini powder which i bought months ago, totally forgotten!
So i'm revisiting it again. Mine is in shade 02 Natural Beige, since its a loose powder the difference in shade 01 & 02 shouldn't be too obvious i think. (btw, i'm normally using shade 01 for most products) But after trying it on the new year eve, i can't bear to part with it. As the powder is really fine with silky finish on my skin, so far its not clogging any of my pores, makes my face stay oil-free for hours without blotting & touch-up. How great is it.
And the packaging for this mini one is another Love, portable & user friendly. The color used for the packaging is lovely too, bronzy cap + transparent container. Its my new HG love after Lotree compact powder. I always wanted to get a loose powder as compact seems a bit too heavy on some days when i know i would be stuck in air-conditioned environment for long long hours, i can't afford to dry out my face and create wrinkles unknowingly.
*Pics of the packaging is after use as i couldn't find the earlier one i took before use.
Since i mentioned its so portable so pic below show you the actual size against MAC full size blush. Its slightly smaller in size and not as thick compare to MAC blush.
I might consider getting the full size one & top up into this mini one for everyday use.
Have you found your HG foundation, loose powder?

Review: Biore 2 in 1 Makeup Remover & Facial Wash
I'm so behind post as its near to Chinese New Year! So i'm busy with all the preparation, more of household shopping than beauty ones so i really have to physically make a trip to the mall for those stuffs.
This time, i'm reviewing an Inexpensive 2 in 1 cleanser from Biore. Its a drugstore available product. And the price wasn't expensive, as if i could remember. Bought it in Hongkong last september while i was there for holiday. I had never tried any of their product so far but heard of quite good reviews on how they can perform and the price are friendly too.
This cleanser comes in a small pink bottle.
It has instructions in both chinese & english which i assume should be language friendly to most.
The packaging teaches you how to read the manufacturing date. (which is cool i think)
heres the example on how it looks like.
Back to REVIEW time!
This is a very foamy cleanser which i'm really fond of. Just a bit of water and some rubbing action you will have rather fine foam for cleansing. The product says it removes light makeup. I was wearing my usual weekend makeup:
My HG Foundation
Kevin BM Concealer
MAC blush
HR Mascara
SANA waterproof eyeliner
All above was removed without a trace which amazed me. As my SANA eyeliner was quite difficult to remove even when i was using my Shu cleansing oil sometimes. In fact this product excel its performance as it was described of. The best part is the 2 in 1 forumla, great to use on days you wana be lazy, who knows i might change to this full-time once my shu cleansing oil finishes. You could use this even if you do not have any makeup on. So far, it does not dries out my skin which i was worry initially maybe due to the too good to be true product name??
Anyone else tried 2 in 1 formula stuffs? Are they good?

Review: Highly Raved Steam Cream from UK
i bought the cherish edition, this steam cream comes in a useful aluminium container. Which i would definitely reuse after the product finishes.
The cream look very edible, its smells of faint lavender scent which din really bother me even though i'm not liking lavender stuffs. Its not greasy as i expected, and absorb by my skin rather fast.
it weighs 75g, a decent size compare to the price as it has mutiple function. This is probably the only skincare product i know so far that can apply on face, body and hand. And the expiry date is indicated below the container. Its normally good for 6 months, which i got to know from the spree organiser. I still have quite a lot left and its expiring next wk. I would just use it on my feets or hands when it expired then.
The texture of the cream is smooth and very easily absorb into my skin without leaving a trace.
See its fully absorbed by massaging it in circular motion. I'm loving the effect of it on my neck area as i'm quite particular about the skincare for neck area its humid in SG thus i often get those heat rash as some moisturise are greasy and does not allows my skin to breathe in outdoor area as they concentrate in locking moisture which is more suitable for indoor air-conditioned area.
For those who are staying in SG like me, can try to get the Steam Cream from Soap N Sorbet, its a newly open online shop selling some Hot Selling Skincare like Steam Cream, Tokyo Milk & Lalicious. They have a trial set with a few minis for you to sample those popular products at just SGD8.
Do you use any moisturiser for your neck area or if you do some extra than just applying moisturiser?
Note: i'm not at all related to Soap N Sorbet in any way. Got to know of them thru some blog advertisement. I got my steam cream using my own money and above review is base on my personal experience.
