In Love with Seoul

I'm back from my well-deserved holiday after doing months and months of research about this vibrant city! Ever since the invasion of K-pop & K-drama, I had make plan to visit Korea one day! But the plan usually falls through due to weather (kids can't go when its freezing cold or crazy hot), language barrier (how to place order for food or even take transport?), feedback given by friends who dislike korea culture in the first place (i wonder why they choose to go then "O_o) etc

this time round, we (mum, sis & i) decided to choose korea over taiwan for our once a year ladies getaway! Its proved to be an awesome choice after all! NICE!

Firstly, we carefully select on the dates (oops, actually i missed checking out as we happened to chance upon their Chuseok aka thanksgiving day and its also Mid-Autumn_Festival. Interesting to know that we share a same celebration date as the koreans. Happen to be there on this day is a good and bad choice which i will share later.

Update! Back from Holiday

Hi all,

it had been such an awful long time, since I last blogged. I had been away for 2 weeks for my well-deserved holiday to korea & taipei! Since its a free & easy trip, I went thru countless travel guides and travel blogs trying to make sure I will be able to survive & minimize the chance of getting lost. Well, I succeed but its definitely at the expense of my long research time.

I'll be posting more on my trip shortly.

Receiving email from Jill Stuart always get me excited! This time round, I think I might be able resist further for their eyeshadow collection as my preference for eyeshadow palette would definitely goes to Spring or Summer collection as compared to Fall as I love happy colors.

This is also the reason why I'm more obsessed with BLUSHES the selection of shades are usually in pinks & peach. In my opinion, blushes are more of an essential makeup item as compared to eyeshadow palette.

I love reading travel blog that could bring me straight into another travel trail without intruding into my bank account.

I love to wander around aimlessly on the street to explore the other view of the same old place.

I love to spend hours & hours sitting in front of makeup stash to swatch, test & experiment to rediscover my old flame that had been forgotten.

I love long bus ride that give me a good excuse for personal time to daydream or even to catch forty winks.

Travel | To Bangkok & Back July 2012

Hallo everyone! It has a  while since I last posted my update. Last month, I headed to Bangkok for a really short but fun trip with friends (for my friend's wedding). But I'm only posting bits & pieces of my adventure rather than my friend's wedding details.

What's on my nails | Glitters + White Tips by OPI teenage dream & YSL white polish

I love to paint my nails, it had silently become part of my weekly routine since 2 years ago. Some people finds it a hassle to remove, wait, apply, wait & apply... Personally I feel confident to wear beautiful colors on my fingertips, its usually bold colors these days like turquoise, blues, glitters, holo, neon pink, vampy red... 

This time round, I did a pink glitters with white tip!

NEW | Jill Stuart Roll On Fragrance

I love Jill Stuart! I love floral prints & girly stuffs if you realized. Last year, I bought JS Night Jewel perfume during my hongkong trip last year as the scent was so mesmerizing. And also the bottle should claim more credits in luring me into purchasing it. Since I mark it on my shopping list way before I test it out personally. At first when I test, it has a sweet light floral scent at the start and gradually towards the later part of the day, the scent changes and turns feminine kind of scent (floral based). 

When I received the mailer that roll-on fragrance was born for this perfume line. I'm so excited to share, of course I'm gonna pick that up on my next overseas trip if I can have access to JS counter. One more thing to take note, their perfume are pretty lasting so remember a little goes a long way!

I just can't describe how excited I am right now blogging via my smart phone. Somehow I chanced upon this app in the app store while browsing from new apps to download.

Seems like having limited access to computer or laptop will no longer be an excuse for me to be missing in this blogging world!

Its time again for me to touch up my revealing black roots, previously I tried Etude House Bubble Hair Coloring #02 Dark Brown which works really well. this round, I'm using their other shade #03 Natural Brown.

Sorry for the pause, I'm finally back on blogging mode...

I LOVE color lens as they seems to enhance my overall look and makes me look different despite the fact I'm always sticking to the same old makeup theme (neutral). Other than buying lens online, I love Freshlook range of lens from my favorite optical shop. Freshlook have one of the most comfortable lens which I could barely feel them on. Not to mention the wide range of shades available.

I'm starting to take baby steps from being just a neutral shade person so Amethyst was my choice for this round & it turns out really well...
