MISA Fashionista

Nail of the week again, i'm really so into purple shade. Start to fall in luv with MISA collection, this is just 2 coat, color just nice and certainly like its name Fashionista which reminds me of those models on the walkway. Its more watery compare to OPI, brush thinner so have to dip twice to finish 1 nail. Its small brush really comes in handy for painting my pinky as OPI brush too wide so easily paint out of the frame.. This Purple lis ike vibrant grape color on those kiddy picture card. Color as per pic, i'm still trying to improve my skills on picture taking so please pardon me if its still not up to standard.

TW St Clare Sebum Treatment Set

http://www.stclare.com.tw/index.php?target=product_inner.php&sn=95&pclass=21
I bought this item off taiwan website via my friend, this item cost NT499.

Comes in 3 steps application,

1: Deep Sebum Softener /20ml

2: Sebum Purifying Mask / 40g

3: Pore Treatment Essence / 20ml

I tested this last sat,

Step 1:

This softener suppose to soften ur sebum before removing them as they are pretty stubborn and always refuse to give way. After applying, feel slight warm sensation, probably its using the heat to expand the pore so it can be remove easily. Instructions says, i have to massage for 2-3 mins before rinsing off.

Step 2:

Apply straight after dapping dry ur face area and apply it, thick enough that you cant see your pores or skin. Thats what it says. Wait for 20-25 mins (its long but worth, read on) After its completely dry peel off from bottom, which is like de-rooting the sebum. It works on sebum but not on blackheads...

Step3

Skin feel so raw as facial hair are remove as well, but this item do not calm my skin. Probably like what it indicates for pore treatment (minimize pore?) I couldnt bear with the itch on my cheek & nose area so use my daily moisturiser to put out the fire.

Conclusion, i love this item for now, its effective in remove sebum. But i still in need solution for my blackheads!

MISA Camellia Destiny

Yea, received this batch of polish just in time for my nail makeover of the week. I love this candy pink, reminds me of barbie... So sweet and bright pink. This is one of MISA classic collection color, one thing i don't like is that the polish is a bit watery hard to cover my full nails. I had to apply 3-4 coats to achieve above rich look but its certainly thinner that OPI. Which after 3 coats will probably equal to this MISA 3-4 coats.

OPI Tickle My France-y

I simply can't wait to try this color, as being longing own this from their france range. Luv all the cold colors that they have which really tempt me to save up all for a France getaway. This color, is like lavender meets with winter. This is a creamy color , above is 3 coats of it, color true to what it appear in the bottle. Perfect for me as i'm a fan of nude color. Its a shade that i will definitely be revisiting...

China Glaze Wink

Its time for my weekly nail color changing exercise. This is one of my recent spree add-on.
I love creme color as they are great for everday wear & hard to recognize wear off. This color is available in 8ty8beauty, China Glaze BLUSH collection.

I had never use their product before, 1st time trying not bad, just the solution a bit more sticky rather than liquid like compare with OPI. the color suppose to be french creme with very fine shimmer. above pic, i applied 4 coats as i didn't do a nice job so the uneven stroke are visible, therefore forcing me to hide it by applying another coat. the color is sort of peachy creme for 4 coat, but the color suppose to be a bit translucent shimmers creme. Very easy to apply, goes very smoothly but for inexperience newbie like me, surely needs more practice... Cya next wk!

Seche Dry Fast Top Coat

Taked from website:

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat is acknowledged as the world's finest top coat. Its patented formula allows it to penetrate through the nail lacquer to the base coat forming a single solid coating over the nail plate for a much more durable finish which is guaranteed not to yellow. Seche Vite is unmatched as a top coat leaving the nail silky feeling, stronger, more durable, absolutely will not chip and creates the highest gloss of any product on the market today. Apply thickly, get a nice bead on the end of the brush, then set softly down on the first nail painted and watch how Seche Vite flows over the wet nail polish self levels and will not drag or streak the underlying manicure. It takes time to master the application and when perfected it is possible to apply in only three strokes...keep trying. Seche Vite will naturally thicken so make sure to keep the neck of the bottle clean and tight at all times and if it gets stringy add a few drops of Seche Restore and roll the bottle slowly adding additional drops until consistency is fully restored.

Review:

This description above is really true about the product. I swear by this top coat, its thick, glossy and lasting. My best record for now, is to have unchip polish for 10 days. Not even tip wear, you can imagine how good it is, simply too value for $$. It claim to take 5 mins to dry polish to touch & 10 mins is all it takes for polish to dry completely. I ever tried to change bedsheet 30 mins after applying this top coat to my polish.

OPI Start to Finish Coat

I bought this when i was a newbie as i need a base & top coat. So i thought how good it will be to have both function in 1 bottle. Save my space for another polish buy. So i bought this off ebay, fast drying as a base coat, BUT i would give 1 out of 5 for top coat. As there is no shine, lotsa bubbles. My nails look terribly ugly, like they were done using cheap polish.

OMG, its one of my worse buy.In order not to waste it, i'm using it as a base coat. At least put it into use than disposing it right.I will take a pic next round on it being used as top coat so that you will know what i saying.

If i'm not wrong its rating in Makeup Alley is also quite disappointed.http://makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=21272/Start_to_Finish_Base_&_Top_Coat/OPI/Top/Base_Coats

OPI French Manicure

I had my French Mani done at a nail saloon in Central (clarke quay MRT), the color used is OPI Bubble Bath + OPI Alpine Snow...

The color was really great & the manicurist did a great job, i had done my manicure there twice both french mani (have to add SGD5 for french mani).

By the way, i bought these 2 colors off ebay from this awesome seller:
http://stores.shop.ebay.com.sg/All-NailsLoveOPI-Beauty-Shoppe
She packs the polish nicely & very carefully. If you can't wait like me, get your polish from her at reasonable price...

Back to topic, i tried to do French mani on myself, its really tough. All of a sudden, my fingers are not getting instructions from me like they weren't mine... Only manage to do on my toes but forgotten to take pics of it.

OPI Room Service

This is one of my latest collection, Room Service from OPI soft shade collection. Its purplish, touch of lilac, giving sheer gloss, i applied 2 coat and you can still see my nail white. The color was not so purplish as i thought it would but good for sheer, light look.In fact, applying this color makes skin tone fairer..

This is Me!

Finally a blog is created devoted to my collection of cosmetic & polish which i adored dearly. I simply love to buy & buy, always love to try and forget the result of what the item has therefore discard it aside and set off for more.

By having this blog, hope that i would be able to remember the glamorous moments of it. Hopefully , i can provide reviews for those who wish to own it. As me too, always try to look for review before purchase, but there is something call impluse buying, which leave me with no extra time to do rational thinking like SALES!!! I hate & love it, hate it for not letting me to really think if i should really own it & love it for letting me to secure my lovely piece at such a pretty tag.

Just a short description of myself, i'm a mother of two, juggling between work, family & my beauty obession and a impluse buyer who cannot stand the word SALES!!
