Introducing one of my favourite lip balm that I managed to hit pan totally sometime back. Its also an item that finally made its way to our shore at a reasonable price!

Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15
 (Extracted from Sephora.com)
What it is:
A sheer rose-tinted lip moisturizer that hydrates, repairs, and protects lips.

What it does:
Fresh Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15 is everything you love about the original Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15, but now you get the added benefit of a natural rosé tint that provides buildable color. With one slick, this stick provides immediate hydration and smoothness—instantly soothing cracked or chapped lips and diminishing the appearance of fine lines. It provides SPF 15 UVA/UVB protection to shield your lips from the damaging effects of the sun and delivers a hint of tint for a natural, universally-flattering look. It's packed in a travel-friendly, screw-top tube.

This product is formulated WITHOUT:
- Petroleum
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Dyes
- Phthalates

What else you need to know:
Tip from Alina Roytberg, brand founder: "For extra pouty, plump, and protected lips, layer any Sugar Lip Gloss shade on top of Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15. You'll get double the moisture, extra shine, and the protective benefits of SPF 15."
Here's the real thing. I bought it late last year or early this year, not too sure about it already. But only get to use it few months back.

Before we continue, here's a introduction of the brand for those who have not heard of it. For those who knows, pls skip :D

A FRESH START

Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg bottle luxury

It all started with the perfect soap, or rather, a lack thereof. When Fresh creators Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg couldn't find sophisticated, sweet smelling bars to sell in their apothecary-style beauty shop in Boston, they recognized a major gap in the marketplace. There were two types of products: Those that looked and smelled pretty, and those that actually worked. But products that did both—and were naturally based, used the finest ingredients and had sophisticated packaging—were few and far between. By combining their creative energies, Glazman and Roytberg came up with Original Soaps, the first of many fantastic products from their new company, Fresh. When their first order sold out in two days, they realized that they were on to something.

Bar soap was just the beginning. As the brand expanded to include skincare, makeup, fragrance, home, hair, and body care, Fresh gained a reputation as a company that refused to compromise when it came to quality, effectiveness, and everything in between. Based on the philosophy that you shouldn't have to choose between products that look good and products that work well, Fresh became the brand that did both.

As time went on and the popularity of the brand increased, Lev and Alina continued to create products that were not only beautiful, but unique in every sense of the word. Innovations, like their groundbreaking Index Eau de Parfums, a collection of distinct fragrances which includes never before smelled combinations like Fig Apricot and Redcurrant Basil, and their exotic Rice Sake Bath and Sugar Bath Cubes (which triggered the fizzy bath craze) have, and continue to, put Fresh on the beauty map.

Products this fabulous can't live in run-of-the-mill packaging: From exquisitely wrapped soaps, to elegant glass bottles and gorgeous gift boxes, opening a Fresh product is like opening a present. With handmade Japanese and European papers and elegant wire ties, the details are so stunning, it breaks your heart to have to open them. But what's inside the museum-worthy packaging is totally worth the rip.

Whether you lather up with a shea butter-infused vegetable soap or sit by the flickering flame of a lead-free, grenadine-scented candle, just soaking up its incredible scent, Fresh's products have the power to tempt your senses on a number of different levels. Which is why everyone who tries it becomes an instant fan. From beauty editors to beauty addicts, one thing about this brand is constant: To know Fresh is to love Fresh.

Review:
I love how sturdy the packaging is, that could possibly survive all bumps and knocks from a careless person like me. And also its twisting to open mechanism is just the one thing all lip balms should have to avoid accidental stain to bags or anything due to loose cap. As i ever encounter my carmex lip balm cap came off without know and guess what the inner lining of my bag was ruined! So i totally appreciate this design.

The scent just reminded me when I was really small my mum used to apply similar rose scent skincare. Its like bringing me down the memory lane kind of feeling even though its really lightly scented sweet rose. Moisturizing power hmm its slightly above average prefect for day use as you can re-apply countless time without feeling its too thick on your lips as its formula is super mild plus its lightly tinted shade best for natural day out or even work.  Its lacking just a bit for night use specially since its lightly tinted, i wouldn't want to stain my pillow case with it.

Last but not least, this product finally appear on the shelves of sephora! Its available at SGD29, which is not too too far off from its USA retail price as compare to other products that made their presence here so far.

Overall, I would consider re-purchase it if I have the chance. Recently, they released a new shade & taste thats passion, you may check out Haru's blog as she did a FOTD using Fresh Sugar Passion Tinted Lip Treatment here!
