I chanced upon this detergent from Daiso (which is known for selling all item at SGD2.00 each) Its a japanese budget store, i visited mine located in IMM (jurong).
it only cost me SGD2.00 for 80ml of goodness. Look at the experiment on how it really works. (pics might make you feel uncomfy!)
YES! my dirty makeup sponges... gross looking
Directions of use: simply drip a few drop of the sponge detergent (transparent gel lotion) onto the wet makeup sponge and start rubbing them.
Here's what you will get:
See the before & after pics!
the final look of my before -dirty makeup sponges. They look so new, this detergent will definitely prolong the lifespan of my makeup sponges. I wonder if they would work for brushes..
What are you using to wash your sponges or brushes?
I have never washed my makeup sponge too! Thanks for sharing this. I'll definitely will get one if I stop by at Daiso :D
ReplyDeleteWow, you did a good job on washing ;) They are so clean! I wash mines with regular antibacterial gel.
ReplyDeleteI need to get some sanitizer for brushes/sponges. :)
so clean....(blink blink eyes)
ReplyDeletecool, i will get it when i visit to Daiso
Great review! I need to get over to my Japanese market to see if they carry this detergent. The sponges look so nice and clean. :)
ReplyDeletewow that's awesome! I totally want some!
ReplyDeletewow this is great....wish we have daiso here...
ReplyDeleteHello! :D
ReplyDeletetry youtubing for michelle pham, she uses olive oil + mama lemon detergent soap to wash. its better! :)
The oil is to prevent the brush/sponge from drying out, while the mama lemon is to disinfect!
It works, but for sponges, don't put too much oil, tends to be oily. For brushes,(all types, eyeliner,e.s,blusher etc can be used)
:D
